1. Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan
He is the foremost driving force behind the formation of UAE and the union’s first president which he held almost 33 years in that position. Sheikh Zayed was named after his grandfather he was the youngest among his 4 brothers. He decided to unite the emirates into a federation after the British withdrawal. He died on 2 November 2004 at the age of 86.
2. Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan
He is the Supreme Commander of the Union Defence Force also the President of the United Arab Emirates. Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan was his father and he had been already acting as a president whiles his father facing health issues. Sheikh Khalifa renamed Burj Dubai into Burj Khalifa in honor of the Sheikh in 2010.
3. Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum
He is the ruler of emirate Dubai also the vice president and prime minister of United Arab Emirates. He made the Dubai into a global city and also responsible for many major enterprises including, DP World, the Jumeirah Group, and Emirates Airline. Sheikh Mohammed has made many charitable ventures like The Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Humanitarian and Charity Est, The International Humanitarian City (IHC), and UAE Food Bank etc.
4. Lubna Khalid Al Quasimi
She was the Minister of State for International Cooperation and Minister of Economic and Planning of UAE previously. In the United Arab Emirates, she was the first women holding a ministerial post and Lubna received an honorary doctorate of science from California State University. Also, she is listed as the 36th most powerful woman in the world by Forbes.
5. Mansour Bin Zayed Al Nahyan
He is commonly known as Sheikh Mansour and also the deputy prime minister of UAE. Sheikh Mansour is from the ruling family and half-brother of the current president Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan. He is the owner of Abu Dhabi United Group (ADUG).
